All Hell Breaks Loose at Oak Hill City Hall

Just as we expected, all hell broke loose at the Thursday night City of
Oak Hill Board of Commissioners Meeting. There were close to 100 people inside and outside the Oak Hill office.

According to a source that was present, the crowd was calling for Alsup and McMullen to resign. Kraus read some sort of proclamation. Throckmorton apologized to all for being asleep at the wheel and allowing Alsup to screw up the City of Oak Hill. A citizen said Kraus could sue the City of Oak Hill.

Someone publicly told Throckmorton that he was full of shit. McMullen was accused of orchestrating and being part of a sophisticated scheme to get rid of Kraus. Throckmorton and Kraus spilled the beans, about what some would consider confidential City of Oak Hill business. There was one woman who appeared to be praying amongst all the confusion. It was real life HBO drama. The name calling and finger pointing lasted for close to 45 minutes.

The Oak Hill Gazette simply does not have the manpower to sort the lies from the truth. You'll have to do that.

Lincoln delivered this famous speech, noted for the phrase "a house divided against itself cannot stand," when accepting the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate from Illinois in June of 1858.
